Write to me about your experiences with reading stories as a child. Did your parents read to you? What kinds of things did you read? Nursery rhymes? Adventure stories? Fairy tales? Bedtime stories? Did you have a favorite story when you were little? If you didn't read as a child, do you think that has affected you in any way? Do you have a favorite story now? Do you think it is important for children to be read to?

My parents read to me every night. My parents read me lots of different kinds of books, but mostly fantasy books. There were a few nursery rhymes. My favorite one was Humpty Dumpty. My favorite little kid story of all time is Where The Wild Things Are. I loved it because i thought that if the little kid in the story could get away to his imagination land, then I could. My second favorite book, I can't remember the title, was a book about a boy that sees how bakers make their food. But one night he sneaks out and bakes himself rocket ship and flies away to his imaginary land and lives happily ever after.
